TOUGHNESS ADDITIVES

I. PLASTIC ADDITIVES 

Additives are substances added in a polymer to change some of its properties. Some of the most common are plasticizers used to reduce the polymer's transfer temperature (making it softer in some way), fillers to make it cheaper (usually chalk), ingredients Oil to improve its rheology. Others are used for electrical stabilization reasons or to give polymers a certain ability (for example, photoelectric agents for photolithography).

II. TOUGHNESS ADDITIVES

The toughness additive, also known as the toughness enhancer, is combined with the PP, PE resin to increase the toughness, tensile strength, impact resistance.

Typical products: POE, also known under other names such as: Tafmer of Mitsui (DF740, DF810, DF940, A4085S ...), Engages - DuPont & Dow (7270, 8100 ...), Vistamaxx - Exxon Mobil ( 6102, 6202 ...)

III. CHARACTERISTIC

The toughness additive helps increase the toughness and flexibility for the resins, increases impact resistance and strength. In addition, because it is in the form of clear plastic particles, it can increase the transparency of plastic, easy to use and food safety.
